Königshof ballroom

For very special occasions, we recommend Dresden's most beautiful ballroom. This room is a dream come true. The ballroom was built as early as 1888. It was later carefully restored, respecting the original design. The room is perfectly suited for jovial wedding celebrations and private parties in a unique ambience. Just one dance in this magnificent room, and you will be enchanted. The well known Dresdner Herbstball (autumn ball), to name just one example, celebrates the golden season with tremendous festivities. Keen dancers practice the samba, pasodoble or quickstep long into the night. Of course, beforehand they gain their strength from an excellent three-course meal.

The architecture of the room is impressive. Grand windows with gilded trim and heavy red velvet curtains offer views of the lovely evening sky. Elaborate moulding and carefully executed frescoes adorn the eight-metre-high ceilings. You will be amazed! Because this room has a unique flair.

The listed ballroom in Neo-Renaissance style features a large stage and offers enough space for balls, performances and concerts. You can also use our ballroom for important conferences and meetings in a truly special setting.
